Shining a Ray of Light This Festive Season

By Sarah Wilson

This Christmas, Ray White Ballarat will continue its popular tradition of giving with the return of A Little Ray of Giving. This inspiring Christmas campaign will see Ray White Ballarat partner with The Salvation Army in Ballarat to help disadvantaged children who may need a little extra light in their festive season.

The Ray White Ballarat team are calling on the local community to embrace the giving season and dig deep for children who need it most. “This is the fifth year that we’ve run A Little Ray of Giving and we want 2017 to be our biggest year yet. Each year it’s amazing to see how well our community can come together and donate to such a great cause.” said Director, Phillip Lee. The gift drive is a way to help put a smile on the face of children and families who can’t financially celebrate Christmas and may need some extra cheer at this time of year, and Phillip said ‘It’s as simple as can be.”
“All you need to do is drop your gift into the office, you don’t even have to wrap it, we will do that part for you” explained Phillip.

Ray White Ballarat located at 37 Lydiard Street South, Ballarat, will have their special giving tree in the reception area of the office and will be collecting gifts from 1st December. “It’s a really simple way to put a smile on the face of a young child who might otherwise go without this Christmas,” said Director Trevor Booth, adding that ‘’just a small gift can make the biggest difference to families who are struggling.’’

Ray White has run this initiative across Australia and New Zealand each December since 2012. Last year more than 300 offices across Australia and New Zealand helped raise 30,000 gifts for disadvantaged families.
Lets beat that number this year!
