159 Tenants Inspect Properties In One Day

Ray White Ballarat held their 8th Rent Event on Wednesday 26th September, 2012.  Thirty one residential rental properties were opened for tenants to inspect between 9.10am – 5.30pm with four of the properties let prior to the day.

One hundred and fifty nine inspections were conducted with prospective tenants throughout the day with many tenants coming from out of town including Melbourne.

Ray White Ballarat Director Phillip Lee said the Rent Event concept had proved very successful for their office.  “The benefits for tenants is that it makes it very easy for them to inspect properties as they can simply turn up without having to make an appointment”  Mr Lee said.

“From the landlords perspective, it gives us the chance to showcase their property and maximise the number of people inspecting their property.  Many properties have been let as a result of the Rent Event and we are still processing applications.”

Over the eight Rent Events run by Ray White Ballarat since February this year, 943 prospective tenants have inspected 173 rental properties in Ballarat.

Landlords who would like their property to be part of the next Rent Event should contact Gaile Atkinson on 5337 0519 or 0417 353 138.
