Ninety six prospective tenants viewed twenty seven Ballarat rental properties during the 9th Ray White Ballarat Rent Event.
Held on Wednesday 24th October 2012, five property managers opened the properties between 9.30am – 5pm with tenants being able to turn up to inspect without the need to make an appointment.
Gaile Atkinson, Business Development Manager of Ray White Ballarat said the turnout was strong for the time of the year but not unexpected given Ballarat’s current low rental vacancy rate of 1.3 per cent.
She said the number of properties opened for the October Rent Event was far less due to the large number of leasings since the September Rent Event.
Over the nine Rent Events run by Ray White Ballarat since February, 1039 prospective tenants have inspected 202 properties.
