April Vacancy Rate Remains Low In Ballarat

The Ballarat residential rental vacancy rate in April 2019 increased slightly to 0.9% according to figures released by the Real Estate Institute of Victoria.

The April median rent for houses in Ballarat remained the same as last month at $330pw and units/townhouses slight increased to $265pw.

The vacancy rate for metro Melbourne dropped slightly to 1.9 per cent, while regional Victoria remained the same at 1.2 per cent.

Median rent for metro Melbourne houses has stayed the same at $450pw and units remained the same at $430pw. Regional Victoria experienced another increase with houses at $345pw and units have shown a significant increase to $285pw.
