Ballarat District Farm Sold For Over $3.35M

A large crowd of district farmers, stock agents, rural agents and solicitors turned up at the Miners Rest Hall on Friday 22nd August, 2014 for the auction of  Blowhard farm “Ellendale” .

Many bidders competed for the chance to secure the property which passed in at $6,610 per acre ($3.352M approx) and was SOLD after the auction for a higher undisclosed price.

Manager of Ray White Rural Ballarat Josh Todd conducted over 25 inspections of the property which was marketed extensively through the Ray White Rural network, digitally via specialised rural websites and in newspapers including Stock & Land, The Age, Australian Financial Review and The Courier.

Comprising 205.25Ha (507.2 acres), “Ellendale”, located at 277 Grills Road, Blowhard is a renowned versatile and productive farming enterprise located in a tightly held district.
