The winners of the 2014 Ballarat Heritage Awards were announced on Tuesday 6th May, 2014 at Old Colonists Club, the home of Dr Blake’s Murder Mysteries.
MC for the night was ABC breakfast presenter for Ballarat & Southwest Victoria, Dominic Brine (pictured).
Ray White Ballarat Director Phillip Lee was a judge again this year and tonight presented the finalists for New Work/Development within a Heritage Area.
The awards were hosted by The National Trust (Ballarat Branch) and supported by the City of Ballarat.
Winners of the categories are:-

New Work/Development Within A Heritage Area – 19 Nightingale Street, Newington
Conservation Of A Heritage Place Or Historic Collection – Ballarat Fish Acclimatisation Society
Specialist Heritage Skills (Traditional Heritage Skills) – Geoff Norwood for Stone Cottage, 145 Bell Avenue, Mt Helen
Specialist Heritage Skills (Individual Skills) – Dr Anne Beggs-Sunter
Heritage Innovation – Ballarat Dreamtime Aboriginal Cemetery Project
Greg Binns Award For Outstanding Community Contribution To A Heritage Place – Golden City Paddle Steamer Society Inc
