Ballarat Heritage Weekend 2015

Ballarat Heritage Weekend is being held on Mother’s Day weekend 9th-10 May, 2015 and invites visitors to journey through the story of Ballarat’s remarkable military history, honouring ‘A Century of Service.’

Enjoy two fun-filled days of FREE activities, entertainment and exciting events, most within walking distance of the historic Ballarat CBD.

This year, Ballarat Heritage Weekend presents a unique opportunity to commemorate and educate children about important stories from our national and local service history.

Young people are sure to love the hands-on activities including periscope-making, the ‘In their Boots’ display, and Morse code breaking, as well as the wonder of the steam rail and riding the double decker bus.
