Ballarat Vacancy Rates Continue To Out Shine Metro Melbourne

The latest figures released by the Real Estate Institute of Victoria indicate that the residential rental vacancy rates have increased slightly to 1.7% for September.

Ballarat median house prices have increased for September to $340pw,  units/townhouses have held steady at $255pw.

The vacancy rates in Metro Melbourne have increased slightly from last month to 2.2%, and Regional Victoria has also noted a slight increase to 1.6% for September.

Median rents for houses in metro Melbourne now sit at $460pw, while median rent for units remained the same at $430pw.

Ballarat median rents rose to $340pw up from $333pw the previous month for houses and have remained at $275pw for units.
