Ballarat Vacancy Rates Hold Steady

The latest figures released by the Real Estate Institute of Victoria indicate that the residential rental vacancy rate for Ballarat has remained the same as September at 1.7% for October.

Ballarat median rents decreased slightly in October to $332pw, units/townhouses have increased from $275pw to $290pw.

The vacancy rates in Melbourne remained steady at 2.2% and Regional Victoria also remained steady at 1.6% for October.

Median rents for houses in metro Melbourne now sit at $470pw, while median rent for units remained the same at $430pw.
