Ballarat Vacancy Rates Slightly Rise

The latest figures released by the Real Estate Institute of Victoria indicate that the residential rental vacancy rate for Ballarat has increased slightly from last month and is now sitting at 2.6% from 2.4%.

Ballarat median rents remained the same from February at $340pw, units/townhouses have also remained the same at $280pw.

The vacancy rates in Melbourne remained steady at 2.3% and Regional Victoria had a slight increase from 1.8 % to 1.9% for March.

Median rents for houses in metro Melbourne have decreased to $470pw from $480pw, along with the median rent for units also decreasing to $430pw from $450pw.
