June Vacancy Rates Remain Low In Ballarat

The latest figures released by the Real Estate Institute of Victoria indicate that the residential rental vacancy rates have increased slightly to 1.2% for June.

Ballarat median house prices have increased for June to $340pw, however units/townhouses have decreased to $255pw.

The vacancy rates in Metro Melbourne remained at 2.2%, but regional Victoria saw an increase to 1.3%, the first since December 2018.

Median rents for houses in metro Melbourne now sit at $460pw, while median rent for units remained the same at $430pw.

Regional median rents rose to $345pw for houses and $280pw for units.
