Large Industrial Site Sells At Auction

A large 4,123m2 industrial site was sold above reserve price at auction on Friday by Ray White Commercial for$430,000. Zoned Industrial 3, the site with an old shed at 18 Gregory Street West was in a prime location just off Gillies Street and in close proximity to the Wendouree Railway Station and Wendouree shopping precincts.

Auctioneer and Director of Ray White Commercial Ballarat Phillip Lee said bidding started at $200,000 with four bidders quickly placing 21 bids to push the price up to $430,000 before it was sold.  Mr Lee said the property had generated huge interest and the sale was a good indication that the industrial market in Ballarat remained strong.
