Ray White Ballarat conducted their 6th Rent Event on Wednesday 25th July, 2012 with 26 properties open for inspection between 9.30am – 5.30pm.
Four properties were let prior and 101 inspections were conducted on the day with prospective tenants coming from as far as Melbourne and Warrnambool to inspect.
This Rent Event saw reduced newspaper advertising and more reliance on emails to our tenant database with an improvement in numbers compared to the last two Rent Events. The Rent Event was also promoted daily via Twitter and Facebook during the last few days leading up to the event and one of the tweets was picked up by local television station WIN Television.
WIN News television reporter Natalie Schenken contacted Ray White Ballarat Director Phillip Lee to ask what the Rent Event was about and as a result the WIN News crew attended several properties on the day and interviewed Phillip Lee, Property Manager Emma Thewlis and several tenants inspecting the properties. The story went to air during the news service that night.
The Ray White Ballarat Property Management team have shown 697 prospective tenants through 121 properties over the last 6 Rent Events.
