Ballarat Vacancy Rate Continues Record Low

The residential rental vacancy rate continued it’s record low rate in Ballarat remaining at 0.7% in December according to figures released by the Real Estate Institute of Victoria.

The December median rent for houses in Ballarat is $320pw and Units/Townhouses $265pw.

Vacancy rates for metro Melbourne rose again to 2.2 per cent, the same level as last year, while regional Victoria fell to 1.2 per cent.

Median rents for metro Melbourne fell for both house and unit to $450 pw and $420 pw respectively meanwhile regional Victoria experienced increases on both houses ($340 pw) and units ($265 pw).
