Ballarat Vacancy Rate Continues To Sit At Record Low For Another Month

By Sarah Wilson

The residential rental vacancy rate continued it’s record low in Ballarat remaining at 0.7% for January according to figures released by the Real Estate Institute of Victoria.

The January median rent for houses in Ballarat is $338pw and Units/Townhouses $260pw.

Vacancy rate for metro Melbourne is 2.1 per cent, while regional Victoria was 1.2 per cent.

Median rents for metro Melbourne rose for both houses and units to $470pw and $430pw respectively meanwhile regional Victoria experienced decreases on both houses ($330pw) and units ($260pw).

With many professionals moving to Ballarat to start work we are experiencing high demand for rental properties and with our office vacancy rate currently at 0.19% we are in urgent need of more rental properties.

If you have a rental property and would like to discuss how we can assist you with finding a tenant and ongoing management please contact Jordan Keast on 0476 666 008.
