McCallum Disability Services Clients Off To Footy

The Ray White EJ Whitten Legends Game is held annually to raise funds for Prostate Cancer Research and Awareness and is being held on Tuesday 30th June, 2015 at Etihad Stadium.

As major sponsors of the EJ Whitten Legends Game, Ray White offices receive tickets to distribute through competitions and giveaways etc.

This year, thanks to a suggestion from one of our staff members, Kayleigh Eastick we decided to give some tickets to a community group as part of our Ray White Ballarat Community Involvement program.  Kayleigh suggested we contact McCallum Disability Services to see if they would be interested in taking some of their clients to the football.

McCallum Disability Services deliver a range of services including accommodation, respite, day support, outreach, lifestyle options and supported employment across Ballarat and provide a responsive range of programs and services to more than 300 people to maximise their opportunities in community life.

Sandy and her carer Hannah recently came into our office to collect the tickets on behalf of McCallum Disability Services. Sandy has never been to a football game and is looking forward to attending the Legends Game along with 14 other friends. The excitement on Sandy’s face left a memorable impression on our team who are really pleased to be able to assist others in the community.

We hope Sandy and her friends have a great time at the game.
